About The Event
Okanogan CD is working with the Methow Watershed Council (MWC), Methow Valley Citizens Council (MVCC), and Resilient Methow (RM) to open the conversation around water quantity and quality in the Methow Valley. There will be a series of community workshops around Water Resources and Drought Mitigation to address community-wide topics of concern and identify tools available to landowners.
We will address the topic of drought from the physical, practical, and legal points of concern for the community of the Methow Valley and what we can do to plan and prepare, addressing the following questions:
- What are the major issues around water quality and quantity in our communities?
- What are local agencies and community groups doing about these issues?
Visit us at the North Central Regional Library in Winthrop from 5-7pm to hear from our guest speakers on water resilience in the Methow Valley. You can also attend via zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87955106951?pwd=cElLTE0xbUcyOTZ3VXp6RllRN2owZz09
