About The Event
Residents of the Methow Valley and Southern Okanogan County are invited to participate in a community meeting on Saturday, February 25th.
There will be two meetings, one in the Methow Valley at the Community Center from 9am to 12pm, and another meeting to follow from 2pm to 5pm at the Pateros Brewster Community Resource Center.
This is a community-centered meeting where participants' needs will lead the discussion and conclusions for this work. We would love to see you there to provide input on what you, your neighbors, and your community need to live safely with wildfire.
This project is organized by the Okanogan Conservation District, the Washington State Department of Natural Resources, and facilitated by Ray Ledgerwood, an independent facilitator with nearly 45 years of experience part of the Okanogan Community-Driven Wildfire Resiliency Project.
