Okanogan CD Hosts Spring Air Care Events

Hello Residents of Okanogan County,

It's time for spring chipping! The Okanogan Conservation District will host free chipping events and green waste disposal throughout the county this March-June. Air care events promote better air quality by serving as an alternative to burning.

Sign-up for your community chipping event below and help spread the word!

Dumpster disposal event details can also be found below!

Chipping Events:

Gather up your woody materials (branches, tree limbs, bushes, etc.) and stack 3-ft wide by 3-ft tall pile(s) at the end of your driveway by 8am on the day of your community event. A chipper will come through the communities listed below and chip the woody materials. If you are interested in participating, please make sure to sign up for your chipping event and provide contact information so we can find your materials!

* After materials are chipped, the chips will be left in place of the pile or transported to a central drop off area.

Learn more about how to use chips for landscaping, compost, mulch, etc., on our resources page.
