Funding Available for Home Hardening!

Okanogan CD is offering an incentive program to help you prepare your home for wildfire. Eligible landowners can receive an incentive of $250-$300 for EACH wildfire home defense practice they complete.

Practices include:

• Gravel (non-flammable perimeter)

• Metal window screening

• Caulking gaps 

• Screening under deck

• Vent replacement/retrofit

• Deck footing protection

• Metal skirting

The first step is to schedule your free Wildfire Risk Assessment where our team can visit your property to provide personalized suggestions on how to enhance your property's wildfire readiness.

Please note:

• Project applications must be approved by the conservation district before projects begin to receive the incentive.

• To receive an incentive, projects must be completed by June 30th, 2025, so don't wait to schedule!
